Filthy Otaku Reservation Policy (Preorders)

  • A Reservation is an item that has not yet come into stock, but you can pre-purchase it to secure your piece. (Preorders and out of stock items we can get in for you)
  • Our Availability is based on the ETA provided by the manufacturers of our products. These ETAs are subject to change and may be delayed due to COVID or other reasons beyond our control. We will keep you up to date with any changes as soon as we are notified by email.
  • Reservations are particularly important for limited release items, as sometimes we may presell out of an item, so reservations will be the only way to ensure you can buy that piece. 
  • Please note that supply quantity is subject to change without notice by the manufacturer/supplier. In such instances, your order quantity may be reduced or cancelled completely, but we will definitely let you know if that ever happens and provide you with a refund or an alternative.
  • Reserved items generally have the option to either pay in full or pay a flat rate deposit to secure the item (this depends on the piece) and then pay the remaining balance upon arrival of the item into our warehouse.
  • The deposit, whether it be flat rate or in full, secures your particular piece, but it is non-refundable and non-transferable. The deposit will be fully refunded only if Filthy Otaku is not able to fulfil the order due to limited supply.

Cancellation policy:

  • If we cannot secure the pre-order item we will either a) process a refund in full to the customer or b) provide a store credit. You as the customer are free to choose which you prefer.
  • The non-refundable deposit placed to secure your order will be used as the cancellation fee. If a deposit was not required at checkout (e.g Payment Plan/Full Payment), then 15% of the total item value will be used as the cancellation fee.
  • A cancellation fee is required regardless of if the order cancellation was completed by the customer or by Filthy Otaku due to insufficient funds or overdue payment for more than 14 days.
  • 3 days grace period: If you changed your mind, then you may cancel your order without penalty if it is within 3 days of placing it, unless the cut off time was within 3 days of a preorder item. The non-refundable deposit will be converted to store credit (no refunds will be given for change of mind cancellation).
  • To cancel a reservation, hit the little (?) in the bottom right corner of this screen or email us with a request to cancel at hello@filthyotaku.com.au
